SPF Record Checker

Look up and validate the SPF record for any domain, with full include expansion and error detection.

What is an SPF record?

SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is a DNS TXT record that lists which mail servers are authorised to send email on behalf of your domain. When a receiving mail server gets a message claiming to be from your domain, it checks your SPF record to verify the sending server is on the authorised list. A missing or misconfigured SPF record makes it easier for attackers to spoof your domain in phishing emails.

This checker fetches your SPF record directly from your domain's authoritative nameservers (bypassing any cache), recursively expands all include: chains, and validates the result — highlighting DNS lookup limit violations, deprecated mechanisms, and dangerous configurations such as +all.
